Enhuma

It's not the first time we had a visit from a French band, but normally they come from somewhere closer than Brest, the westernmost city of French on the Atlantic Ocean. After first hearing from Enhuma a year ago, when they distributed their debut demo freely on the Internet, they finally released their first regular CD La tête dans la chèvre and are now on their first tour which brings them also to Luxembourg where they will play a show in Belvaux the following day, together with French instrumental prog rockers Myster Möbius.

Enhuma
Sounding a lot like Mr Bungle, Enhuma insist that they are influenced from all kinds of music, from Zappa to Tool, and incorporating more esoteric or unlikely sources like Honey For Petzi and Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. The fourteen tracks on their CD prove that Enhuma don't sound like your typical French rock band, but have a very cosmopolitical approach to music. They may not be commercial, but their complex and smart sounds is ultimately very rewarding.
