Raging Speedhorn were formed in England in late 1998 by former musicians of Soulcellar and Box. Their self-titled debut was released in 2000 and was one of the best metal core albums of the year. Two years later, it's time for their second CD, and although the CD is containing a lot of diversity, it doesn't reach the same level of freshness as the debut. Especially the first three songs are very aggressive and full of anger, which also reflects the lyrics. The video and single edit Fuck The Voodooman isn't slower either. I wonder if it will reach the British pop charts as their last single The Gush did. There are also some slower, doomier tracks like Ride With The Devil, Scaramanga and especially Heartbreaker which is very close to the Black Sabbath style. Although the vocals are always true metalcore, the guitars are inspired by the British doom gods: low tuned, but played a little faster. We Will Be Dead Tomorrow was produced by two members of Biohazard, whom Raging Speedhorn supported about two years ago. We Will Be Dead Tomorrow can be classified as a strong metalcore album, but my expectations of Raging Speedhorn were higher after their fascinating debut.
